Pits, pride and proper prize money — Smokin’ Barrel Fest 2026 is back, and this year the pro teams are front and centre. This is a full KCBS-sanctioned showdown at Burnt Barrel, with bragging rights, cash and trophies all on the line.

The Event

Smokin’ Barrel Fest is a FREE public event, but behind the scenes the comp is all business for the crews. While families roam the grounds, sink a few cold ones at the Carpark Bar, load up on sweet and savoury treats and enjoy live music, you’ll be on the tools making BBQ magic happen.

Across the weekend, there’ll be live cooking demos, pitmasters talking shop and plenty of action around the smokers, with the AFL Grand Final on the big screen Saturday and comp day taking over Sunday.

Registration: $450 per team, which includes breakfast each day (Saturday and Sunday) for 2 Crew. Additional Crew are $40ea (for both days).
